The hyperbole of the title aside, Preston did produce some flamboyant organ solos and keyboard work throughout this album. His use of bass pedals, dazzling intervals, octave jumps, phrases, and chordal maneuvers were impressive. This hasn't been reissued by Vee Jay since its original release date. Original artwork and Track sequence. Groovy as hell !.
In the early 60¿s Preston had already made a name for himself as a very fine Piano and Hammond organ player. Many of the Preston's VeeJay solo recordings made it to the Go-Go Clubs and Mod Joints all over the world. Features the two albums The Most Exciting Organ Ever & Early Hits of 1965
Beatles 5th member early works !!!. Although probably best known through this fact, a smashing number like "Billy's Bag" is chance to showcase Mr. Preston as a talented man in his own right. In the early 60´s Preston had already made a name for himself as a very fine Piano and Hammond organ player of soul/jazz/r&b, recording with anf for such artistes as Sam Cooke or Little Richard. Preston's VeeJay solo recordings (all of them available here) made it to the Go-Go Clubs and Mod Joints all over the world as absolute "Winners". such as "The Birds & The Bees", ´Shotgun´ ´The Octopus´ and the self written "monster" 'Billy's Bag'. Contens both ("Exciting Organ" and "Hits of 1965") albums and an extra track.
