Various -- German Funk Fieber Vol 1-Infectious Rare Grooves & Krauty Schlager Wonders 1969 to 1977 ...
NEW LP
FFunky funky tunes from 1970s Germany -- sound library material and ultra rare singles by German pop, easy listening, and jazzy groovers moonlighting in the funk sound -- and hitting it!
A few of the tracks head for the gritty, howling JB variety, but more roll with the fuller arrangements and pulpy cheer of the soundtracky funk groove.
It includes some English language covers of funky soul hits, instrumental organ jams, percussion heavy horn funk, and more -- a full funky palette -- much of it never commercially available until now! Compiler Roman Kumutat does a fantastic job here, with a few notes on each track.
