BBC (Big Blind Country) runs about 24 minutes total with Part One and Part Two taking up the two sides – starting in a measured mode and sticking to it – a solid Afro funk groove sets itself in for the long haul and maximum hypnotic effect, punctuated by bursts of sax and lyrics that call out both cultural blindness and myopia in his country.
It's a Fela song that's hugely important to this day, often performed in his later yars, yet this is the first time we've seen it on a record! (Limited to 1000 copies)
