The lone, wonderful album by early 70s UK chanteuse Christine Harwood -- a batch of soulful, sophisticated post folk groove backed by a great group of players -- with wonderfully sultry vocals from Christine and a lightly funky sound!
Christine was reportedly a young teenager when these tracks were recorded with a incredible group that shared players with incarnations of Joe Cocker's band, Yes, and others -- with production by Miki Dallon. The sound is in a very free spirit, with jazzy and really rich arrangements steeped in Hammond organ, cleanly funky bass, strings and some flute.
Originally released in the early 70s on the Birth label,A real treasure!
