The set's got plenty of those great Trovajoli bossa modes -- lightly dancing arrangements underpinned by a good sense of rhythm that always spices things up -- and which really comes to the forefront on a few sparer tunes that are heavy on acoustic percussion.
The mix of earthy and dreamy is really great, and quite different than the usual Italian score of the time -- and titles include 12 variations on themes that include "Canto De Angola", "Angola Adeus", and "Feitico Da Noite".
