OVERVIEW 

In september 2004 -Crippled Dick Hot Wax!- released a collaboration of Alessandro Alessandroni from Italy with Berlin producers Slope. "Tridem" is the name of this "sundrenched listening-pleasure" (Jazzthetik). Alessandroni, famous for his whisteling on Morricone`s italo-western soundtracks ("Once upon a time in the west", "A fistful of dollars", "The good, the bad and the ugly" and "For a few dollars more" etc), invited Paul and Honesty to his idyllic casa in Bagnaia close to Rome to capture the feeling of a long hot summer on record. With the help of friends like Morricone chanteuse Gianna Spagnulo, Volker Meitz (Fender, Moog), Micatone bassplayer Paul Kleber and many more they made up an exciting melange of Alessandronis classic instrumentation 

with fresh beats and production styles from Slopes Cabinet Studios in East Berlin, from where they already sent out various 12s and an album for Interference and Sonarkollektiv-records to planet groove. On two vinyl 12s we ll now release new interpretations of this succesfull meeting of musicians from the past and the present. 

ALESSANDRONI REMIXES Believe 

A new face on the Disco-Floor is Tobi Foster from Switzerland. Being part of the Soultourist Kollektiv he s around for a while As keysplayer and Dj, his remix of ¿Believe¿ is his debut As a Solo-artist which will be followed by a 12 on Sonar Kollektiv soon. Colognes Pascal Schäfer, who recently released his debut incl "Melody Express" on Karaoke Kalk, follows up with a tempting huggybear of a track that grabs you and doesn t let you go anymore. But maybe Sygaire, also known as Kosma, Roskow and part of Jazzanova, can help. He turned "Welcome" into a streetstyle version that should satisfy both old- and nu-school needs. Final "Believe" is getting a brasil treatment from Difusora, which is HP Eckhardt aka Agapê from Berlin and Marc Frank, part of Les Gammas (Compost), from Augsburg. Their approach to latin music is a original and rough one which leaves out the embarrasing lifestyle-lounge elements. so far they have done remixes for Paul Kuhn and the "City of God" ost on CDHW!
