The stunning return of Goblin – hot on the heels of a worldwide series of live performances too!
The music is from the newly-reformed group headed by keyboardist Claudio Simonetti – whose instrumentation really dominates here, in a spacious blend of dark sounds and moody moments – many of which are recast versions of older Goblin themes, but done without as much fuzzy guitar as before!
Simonetti's keyboards sound a bit more 80s than contemporary – but in a good way – and titles include "E Suono Rock", "Tenebre", "Zombi", "Phenomena", "Suspiria", "Profondo Rosso", and "Roller".
