Dagmar's Collective is a new musical project that starts at the beginning of 2012, it's the brainchild of German/ Dutch singer Dagmar Segbers together with Producer/guitarist Emilio Foglio and pianist Michele Fazio .
The original idea of the three musicians is to combine different languages and different musical idioms through the warmth of jazz and folk sounds and colours of South American's rhythms.
Two more musicians complete the Line Up of the Project, Piero Orsini on Double Bass and Percussionist Francis P. Pelizzari. With such talents in the line-up what comes out of the Studio it's a wonderful synthesis of classic meets modern.

An acoustic Record Which can be described as generous, fresh and very well executed, where the international song writing (There are songs in English, French, Spanish, Argentinian, Brazilian, Italian and German) ) is re-evaluated and acquires new momentum thanks to the wonderful interpretation of Dagmar Segbers and the elegant and never dull arrangements written by Michele Fazio and Emilio Foglio, who prefer to dwell on the right sound for each track rather than flaunt technicality. Also, it's worth to mention that the project Dagmar's Collective, which contains four original songs, takes full advantage of the impeccable groove created by talented Double Bass player Piero Orsini joined with the eclecticism of percussionist Francis P. Pelizzari which uses just one Djembe played with a brush (djembrush), a technique developed by Pellizari himself, which gives the entire record a unique and original sound.
