Eiliff-Girlrls !-'72 German Progressive rock-NEW LP
Eiliff – Girlrls !
Label:
Long Hair – LHC152
Format:
Vinyl, LP, Album, Reissue, Remastered
A superb vinyl reissue of the '72 sophomore album by the highly rated German band Eiliff. Like the s/t debut from the previous year, the album combines influences from the British progressive scene with typical kraut moves.
However, a difference is that this second effort rocks harder, with intensely chopping piano and organ, a solid rhythm section, virtuoso guitar playing from Houschäng Nejadepour, and lots of smooth "Mother styled" electric sax.
This reissue of 'Girlrls' comes with remastered sound from the original tapes with two bonus tracks from their 7-inch, and an informative insert, based on notes by keyboardist Rainer Brüninghaus.

The second album of Eiliff, is also a considerable album.
It was recorded in famous Hamburg studio Windrose and was similar to the
first album. Arguably their music was marginally more loud and direct, thus bringing
their music marginally closer to rock. Intense chopping piano and organ, along with
excellent drums and firm bass guitar providing a structure for a wealth of superb
guitar from virtuoso Houschäng Nejadepour, and lots of smooth 'Mother styled'
electric sax.
Girlrls comes with two bonus tracks from 7 inch 'ride on big brother/
day of the sun', released before Girlrls was published.
Album comes with informative insert, based on notes by keyboarder Rainer Brüninghaus.
Remastered from original tapes.
