Grobschnitt is a phenomenon. Founded in 1970, the band is celebrating its 40th anniversary. Now, they are back with the live recording of the concept album "Rockpommel's Land" and enthusiastic as ever.

If there is a Rockalbum that their listeners really put into the realm of fairy tales, it is "Rockpommel's Land" by the German rock legend Grobschnitt. The concept album of 1977 was then performed only rarely. It was because of its complexity as unplayable and was therefore soon withdrawn from the live program.

Now the band had returned after almost 18 years absence from the stage back in 2007 live and since then supplies from exciting shows - for most fans, however, was the revival of the complete Rockpommel's Land - Grobschnitt but have always had the reputation to make dreams come true. Already with two Testgigs in 2009, the now eight-member combo present the complete fairy-tale live again on stage, the basis for the recording of the double album "2010 Live ". New, fresh arrangements show the work in an unexpectedly powerful interpretation, No sound of nostalgia, but an up to date stage and instrument performance. Moreover, the current occupation of the band has created new works that congenial complete the original

Due to the length of more than 60 minutes, the whole work is pressed on three (!) LP-sides. Sireena Records (as always) guarantee the best possible sound quality, the album comes on 180 gram heavy vinyl and was mastered from the original tapes.
As a special gift for the fans, the first 1000 albums are delivered in red vinyl.
