NEKROPOLIS STROM DEPT. - LIVE

Limited 200 copies, handmade gatefold cover.
Maybe some of you know the Band Nekropolis from the mid/end Seventies and/or Peter Frohmader, the guy behind the band an old kraut- and electronic- pioneer from Munich who also played in the Band Kanaan early Seventies.

In 1993 he played one gig under the name Nekropolis Strom Dept. (as 3 man group) near Munich which was recorded and since then unreleased.

It's not Nekropolis-style and not electronics.

The tracks were written in the time Kanaan exists (a band never releasing an album). The Live-LP starts with a long drony psychedelic-track, maybe similar to some F/i-stuff and changes to jazzy Kraut-Jams.

Completely instrumental.

German free-rock psychedelic trio formed as Peter Strom in 1991 by Peter Frohmader (guitar, bass), Uwe Rüdiger (drums) and Tobias Siegert (guitar, bass).

After a few line-up changes they split in late 1993. The name Nekropolis Strom Dept. was apparently invented by the record label who wanted a more marketable brand.
