Amazing electronics from the European scene of the early 80s -- the kind of tracks that might have played strongly on the dancefloors of Italian and German clubs, but which also have plenty of power on their own all these many years later!

Most numbers are quite spare, and are a key link between 70s Euro prog and 80s American house music -- as they represent a stripping down of the former, in ways that really get it ready for the latter!

Given that import singles like these were a key inspiration for DJs and producers in mid 80s Chicago and Detroit, you can definitely hear that link -- and even if you don't care about the history, you'll find plenty to love in the spare beats, spacey keyboards, and captivating sounds in the cuts.
