Brazilian/Italian combo that have been active in Italy for over 10 years.

They combine popular Brasilian music with new musical influences, but always manage to be respectful towards tradition, sounding fresh and emphasizing the musical research. The album was recorded entirely live in the studio.

Banda Favela on stage are open to improvisation, thanks to the experience earned during their career as backing musicians for several Brazilian artists.

In 2002 they embarked on their first Japanese tour which hit legendary clubs like the Blue Note.
