2 classic early bossa albums by Deodato back to back on one CD set. It features 2 records 'Samba Nova Concepcao' and 'Impulso', both recorded in the early months of 1964, both featuring Deodato playing Hammond organ and piano over some very tasty bossa grooves. The backing here is by large groups and the sound is really wonderful, a bit like the best work of Walter Wanderley, with fast samba and bossa rhythms grooving along and Deodato coming over the top on his magical keys.
