 Film's Storyline:
 
Several murders have taken place in London. All victims are women and the murderer is using always the same technique which reminds of Jack the Ripper. Scotland Yard suspects a certain Peter Dockermann, ex-acrobat now unemployed, also because he was the husband of one of the victims. Of the same opinion is Winston Damery Christie a professor, very close friend of Inspector Campbell of Scotland Yard, who is in charge of the case. Christie is very interested in following whis investigation and he believes these murders are certainly originated by an abnormal mind. He then becomes scared when his favourite studentess and his wife are killed by the unknown maniaque. In the meanwhile Scotland Yard is still after Peter trying to find some evidence against him. Lulù , a prostitute friend of Peter, tells him she suspects that inspector Campbell himself could be the murderer. Peter follows Campbell all the way to a castle in Sussex, where in a macabre cellar, he discovers some anatomic rests of women and arrives just in time to save the life of Inspector Campbell. He then fights with the murderer, who is Winston Damery Christie, and kills him.

 Film's Storyline:
 
Raped when quite young by a man dressed as a priest who then pushes her down the stairs, condemning her for the rest of her life to a wheelchair, the young girl then marries a trainer who works in a centre for handicapped people. Soon after the wedding, blood begins to flow as she begins to re-live her nightmares of the past
