Paraguay is one of the very few countries of South America that still haven’t had its own place in the 60’s & 70’s music reissue scenario, until now. Born in Asunción in 1965, Los Blue Caps found fame in Argentina where they remained for nearly a decade. They released a good number of albums and 45s, and as commonly happened back then, the record company forced them to record some mainstream songs, resulting in the fact that none of their LPs is great from start to finish but they really have a bunch of amazing tracks, that have been selected for this fantastic "best of" kinda vinyl release.
Garage, psychedelic, 60’s beat–pop, there’s a bit of all that in here. Album opens with the astounding psychedelic garage stomper "No me dejes solo" with its psychedelic effects and effective fuzz tones, being the only English language song of the entire album. The rest of the album has nice guitar with some fuzz here and there, as well as cool organs.
Limited reissue of 600 copies, with remastered sound, extensive liner notes, photos....
