Wind-Morning-'72 German Prog Rock-NEW CD PAPER SLEEVE
After their superb first album "Seasons" on "cheap-label "+plus+" Wind released "Morning" on CBS. "Morning" had a different folky and lyrical fairytale atmosphere.
Opening track "Morning Song" sounds like a mixture of Procol Harum and Genesis in their early days. "The Princess and the Mistrel" is one of these songs you do once in your musical life, a lyrical epic piece of music with a chorus you will never forget. "Dragon Mind", "Carnival", "Schlittenfahrt" and "Tommys Song" could also be compared to early Genesis or British group Spring with their soft mellotron textures. Bonus track is 1973-single Josephine. Album comes with renewed band history by singer Steve Leistner and a lot of yet unseen photos.

180g vinyl reissue of this great album, that was originally released on CBS in 1971. This band, featuring a.o. German rock star Udo Lindenberg on drums and English guitarist Barrie Newby, played a great mixture of prog and jazz-rock, reminding of Chicago Transit Authority and The Keef Hartley Band. - See more at: https://www.lpcdreissues.com/item/1-album-2#sthash.BkMcxr40.dpuf
