B.F. Trike was a power-trio from Indiana who evolved from garage band Hickory Wind. They consisted of Mike McGuyer on guitar , Alan Jones on bass and Bobby Strehl on drums.

This is their legendary, unissued at the time studio album from 1971.

First released by the Rockadelic label in 1989 and out of print for many years, here’s a long overdue official vinyl edition.

Psychedelic hard-rock of the highest order with acid-fuzz guitar and melodic vocals. A must for fans of the genre.

The legendary unreleased B.F. Trike album, originally recorded for RCA in 1971 by a power trio from Indiana, who had evolved out of psych band HICKORY WIND. A perfect example of the transition from garage-psych to hard-rock, this is a real winner from start to finish, featuring screaming fuzz guitar, superb musicianship and strong songwriting. Essential to anyone into obscure North-American psych, especially fans of groups s.a. Stone Harbour, Wizard, Bent Wind, Trizo 50 and the likes. (Previously released in 1988 as the first ever Rockadelic release.)
