Khazad Doom-Cherry Town-'68 US Psych-NEW LP
KHAZAD DOOM - CHERRYTOWN
Recorded in 1968 prior to the legendary 'Level 6,5' album, this is a brilliant (previously unreleased) album of fantasy Beatle-esque garage psychedelia. 'Cherrytown' basically is an early psych-pop opera about a fictional place and its fictional inhabitants.
This is a limited 700 press on black vinyl with brilliant color cover and incredible color songbook with each album!

US prog/psych band from Morton Grove, IL, active from 1964 to 1972. At the beginning under the name "Laymen" they played a music strongly influenced from the Beatles but over the time they evolved into a sound increasingly personal attributable to the emerging progressive trend. After changing the name to Khazad Doom and extensive tours in and around Chicago the group recorded and released the album "Level 6 1/2" in late 1970. Pressed in only 180 copies the album became a truly damnation for record collectors. Disbanded in March 1972.
