here's an excellent prog/psych/hardrock monster from 1972. Fronted by Tom McGuigan's unique singing and fiery saxophone playing, Message combined the best of the British heavy and progressive styles of the day with Krautrock innovation. The band incorporated elements found in the music of Deep Purple, Wind, early Eloy (particularly in the guitar solos) and Nektar, as well as hints of Van Der Graaf Generator.
MESSAGE are one of the bands half from Germany and the other half from England originated.
Was founded on the band in 1968 by bassist HORST Stachelhaus together with ALAN MURDOCK, from that in various English bands had played in 1962 before, including at MI5 (from which was later NECTAR).
MESSAGE combined the best of British Hevay and progressive rock with Krautrock innovations.
