For the first time the phenomen German Neo Psych has been honored on a compilation. The utmost hip mix of garage, punk, rock & psychedelic slopped from the stronghold Hamburg, Berlin, Ruhr, and Southern Germany all over the whole republic and also caused quite a stir in foreign countries. Agents of this genre like The Multicoloured Shades, The Shiny Gnomes, 39 Clocks, The Chud, Dizzy Satellites, etc. have been resounded throughout the land, some of them even got a foot in the door of the industry and caused further spreading around. A certain breeze of paisley, leather and velvet was in the air. Organs met fuzz guitars and synthesizer. Everything was possible in the 2nd half of the 80's - then the scene faded out. Various bands broke up or changed the genre. Only very few went on. Here they are assembled on one cd for the first time !
