DOM UM ROMAO-Lake of perseverance-Brazilian percussion

DOM UM ROMAO
Lake of perseverance (vinyl)

NEW IRMA 2LP

One of the latest album from the Brazilian percussion genius who died in 2005. Dom Um Romao together with a cast of all-stars that includes pianist Luciano Alves, singer Ithamara Koorax, guitarist Dorival Caymmi, keyboardist Eumir Deodato and saxophonist Jose Carlos Ramos. The core of the set reminds of Romao's 70's sound, but also a number of tracks kicking in with a modern feel, pumping up the beats with an abstract vibe which will sure please new audiences.
